Overview
Cox Consulting is a fast-growing small start-up company involved in the intersection of education, computers and the internet. Our clients include prominent corporations as well as other educational technology companies.
This is a contract position. The contract-consultant will provide services both to Cox Consulting clients as well as internally to Cox Consulting in industries of education and eLearning. Hours will vary, based upon our clients requirements. This position can remain as a contract position or later convert to employee status (part-time or full-time), depending upon the individual’s performance along with the work preferences of the individual.
This person must be able to work well in an office with diverse staff, and must have an awareness and understanding of cultural, racial, religious, and economic differences.
- Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree or Higher in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related disciplines.
- 7-10 years Marketing / Strategy consulting experience, with at least 5 years in the e-Learning industry.
- Experienced in developing methodologies and building consulting practices.
- Strong oral, written, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, computer, and quantitative skills
- Strong in strategic planning, market research, program development and channels management, etc, such as to immediately make an impact on a business
- Track record in executing marketing initiatives that have made a measurable difference
- Experienced with CRM & LMS systems
Duties and Responsibilities
For Cox Consulting Clients
1. Marketing Activities
- Create, edit, review direct marketing campaigns
- Create, edit, review email campaigns
- Create, edit, review marketing collaterals
- Analysis / Research on market opportunities for clients
- Project Management and overview of campaigns
- Write articles, case studies, and participate in webinars/seminars
2. Performance Strategic Analysis
- Conduct competitive and market best practices audits
- Constantly reviewing third-party research regarding marketing best practices, consumer trends, etc. and developing reports for clients
- Developing integrated marketing and promotions campaigns for clients
- Developing customer targeting and segmentation strategies
- Developing customer acquisition, retention and conversion strategies
- Developing business cases and ROIs for various business purposes, including direct response advertising campaigns, marketing programs, campaign options, and application development efforts
For Cox Consulting – Internally Delivered Services
1. Administration
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, as directed
2. Supporting Business Development
- Business Development of Cox Consulting Services to other e-Learning organizations
- Creation of Marketing Collaterals for Cox Consulting
- Project Collaboration / Management with other team members
